We are seeking an AVD Cloud Engineer with a strong background in designing, implementing, and managing Azure Virtual Desktop solutions, alongside broader cloud engineering expertise

Responsibilities:

• Design, deploy, and manage Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) environments to support organizational needs;
• Optimize the AVD infrastructure for performance, scalability, and security;
• Provide end-to-end support for cloud infrastructure, including troubleshooting and issue resolution;
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions;
• Develop and maintain automation scripts to streamline AVD operations using tools like PowerShell or Azure CLI;
• Monitor and manage cloud resources, ensuring cost efficiency and high availability;
• Implement best practices for security, backup, and disaster recovery of AVD environments;
• Create and maintain documentation for architecture, processes, and policies.

Requirements and Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field;
• 3+ years of experience in Azure cloud development and management;
• Expertise in Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) deployment and management;
• Proficiency in scripting and automation tools (e.g., PowerShell, Azure CLI);
• Strong understanding of networking, virtualization, and identity management within Azure;
• Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail;
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment;
• Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect, Azure Administrator, or Azure Virtual Desktop Specialty) are a plus.
